Northumberland Bass Addict Swimbaits - The WhipWad
Introducing you to the 5.4-inch WhipWad, a deadly weedless soft plastic swimbait lure with a large curly tail. The body features awesome detail, anal fin, scales, gill plate details, and eyes. The curved back of the bait helps to hide a swimbait hook snugly to the body, this provides a fully weedless performance. The tail is thick, packed with details, and features four different raised sections to provide tons of reliable action and vibration. The hook slot is designed to fit a 4/0 beast hook.
Our WhipWads are made in the United Kingdom. This lure design is a collaboration between Marling Baits and Epic Bait Molds in the USA, with us being able to produce them in the United Kingdom.

The photo above shows a young Pike taken on the WhipWad in GP-Ayu Flash. Our Green Pumpkin is optically enhanced and has an Ayu Flash sheen.
I'd recommend the GP-Ayu Flash, Natural Mystic Flash and Junebug Flash for all freshwater applications. On the other hand, my mate Sam has had very good results using the Ayu colour along our coast!
Our core principle is that our lures are handmade by ourselves in the northeast of England. We do not import cheap lures from the Far East or act as a reseller in the UK. This applies to our WhipWads as well, they are handmade in the United Kingdom! We trust that you support local enterprises.
